Yelena Shirkin, D.D.S. is a respected dentist serving a diverse community across the greater Baltimore region for over 17 years. Dr. Shirkin joined Baltimore Dental in 2006 and became an owner in 2007. Dr. Shirkin's close partnership with the founder of Baltimore Dental, Dr. Joseph Feinsod, helped create a strong foundation for exceptional quality of care reaching thousands of patients across the Baltimore area.
Dr. Shirkin graduated from University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 2006. She also completed an externship in pediatric dentistry and volunteered across Baltimore City elementary schools, where she introduced oral health education and preventative dentistry for children. Dr. Shirkin earned her undergraduate degree from Goucher College, where she majored in microbiology and minored in economics. She graduated from Beth Tfiloh High School in 1996 and lives in Baltimore with her husband, Michael and their adorable bernadoodle dog, Luna.
Dr. Shirkin has two children who are alums of Beth Tfiloh High School and are now working on professional degrees at university. Dr. Shirkin immigrated to the United States from Ukraine with her family at the age of 13 and is fluent in Russian. Dr. Shirkin is passionate about delivering outstanding service, preventative care, patient education, and improving quality of life, one smile at a time for patients of all backgrounds.
